A man wearing a ski mask and brandishing a handgun robbed the Stop & Go Food Store at 530 W. Cemetery St. Sunday night.
Salisbury Police Sgt. Kevin Wilborn said the armed robber forced a woman customer to the ground, ordered a male customer not to move and held a woman clerk at gunpoint. He told the clerk to empty cash out of the register.
The man left on foot.
Wilborn said the robber was a black male wearing a hoodie. That is the only description police could give on the scene.
Four Salisbury patrol cars were outside the store about 10 p.m. Sunday.
The robbery occurred about 9:10 p.m.
No one was hurt, Wilborne said.
