Conference agenda
Dr. J. Matthew Sleeth will speak on “Serving God to Save the Planet” at 7:45 p.m. Friday and “Finding Your Calling” at 10 a.m. Saturday. He will also serve as a panelist and workshop leader on Thursday and Friday.
Other speakers include:
– The Rev. Canon Sally Bingham, president and founder of Interfaith Power & Light, a priest in the Episcopal Diocese of California and environmental minister at Grace Cathedral in San Francisco.
– Rabbi Fred Scherlinder Dobb, who serves Adat Shalom Reconstructionist Congregation in Bethesda, Md.
– Gary Gardner, the senior researcher at Worldwatch Institute, and the author of “Inspiring Progress: Religion’s Contributions to Sustainable Development.”
The Faith, Spirituality and Environmental Stewardship conference will begin with a 7:30 a.m. registration on Thursday and close with Sleeth’s address on Saturday.
