Jon Morgan of Rockwell and Rodney Eller of Salisbury took home $1,218 with a limit of 19.02 pounds of bass at the Memorial Day weekend tournament of the Piedmont Division of Fishers of Men on High Rock Lake.
Morgan and Eller also took the big bass award with a largemouth that weighed 6.1 pounds.
Second place went to Dean Collins and Ray Furr of Lexington. They caught five bass that weighed 16.8 pounds.
Third place went to Richard and Jery Bost of Salisbury. Their catch was 16.3 pounds.
The last team series event will be June 16 at Badin Lake.

n n nThe recent National Guard Open on Lake Norman will be shown Sunday on FSN’s “FLW Outdoors” show.
The one-hour show is the second of a two-part series covering the third event of the $9.5 million FLW Tour season.
The show takes viewers through the final weigh-in and awards for the $1.5 million National Guard Open.
The bass tournament was the richest ever held in North Carolina. Larry Nixon won the tournament.
