Miss Carillon beauty pageant contestants needed
Carillon Assisted Living is seeking brave men from the community ó young and old ó who are willing to enter the “Miss Carillon” beauty pageant.
Set for 2 p.m. Feb. 8, the event is designed to entertain seniors and raise awareness for businesses who sponsor a contestant.
Carillon is looking for the most creative and amusing contestants, dressed as women, with both real and “pseudo” talents.
“This event is all about  humor,” says Suzanne Rose, one of the pageant organizers. “Laughter can be the greatest medicine of all.”
The public is invited to attend and help judge the competition. Refreshments will be provided and prizes will be awarded  to the top three contestants.
