According to North Carolina’s Silver Alert system, Edward John Hanson-Kelly has been located.
Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports Hanson-Kelly was located at the Charlotte Airport at about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday. His credit card had been used for gas again at about 8:30 p.m. in Winston-Salem. Hanson-Kelly had become disoriented on his trip and no foul play was involved.
Investigators believe Hanson-Kelly, of 1109 Timber Spring Lane, got lost while driving to the airport in Charlotte to pick up his wife, Eileen Hanson-Kelly last.
Hanson-Kelly’s credit cards had been used at gas stations in Matthews, Wise, Townsville, S.C., and Lyons, Ga.
