Undercover heroin sting nets five

The Special Investigative Unit of the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office concluded a monthlong undercover operation with several arrests.
After making several undercover purchases of heroin, investigators with the Special Investigative Unit executed search warrants at two residences.
A search warrant served at 331 Allman Farm Road, Kannapolis, the residence of Victor Lynn Butler, yielded 50 heroin balloons with a street value of $1,300 and drug paraphernalia. Anthony Dale Carter was at the residence during the search and had in his possession two heroin balloons, drug paraphernalia and $234 in cash, according to information from the Sheriff’s Office.
Robbie Nicole Burris was in a vehicle outside the residence during the execution of the search warrant, and he was found with a gram of crack cocaine, syringes and a small amount of heroin.
A search warrant was also executed at 339 Allman Road, Kannapolis, the residence of Shari Houg Beaver and Stacy Glenn Beaver. This search yielded one gram of heroin, three marijuana plants (street value of $7,400), one gram of marijuana, one pistol and two rifles.
– Carter, 49, also of 331 Allman Farm Road, was charged with felony possession of a schedule I controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $4,000 pending a first appearance in court today.
– Burris, 21, of 2851 Davidson Highway, Concord, was charged with two felony counts of possession of a schedule II controlled substance, one felony count of possession of a schedule I controlled substance and one misdemeanor count of using drug equipment/paraphernalia. She was held under $2,500 bond pending her first appearance in court today.
– Shari Beaver, 42, of 339 Allman Farm Road, was charged with a felony count of maintaining a dwelling or vehicle for the sale of a controlled substance, one felony count of possession of a schedule I controlled substance, a felony count of manufacturing a schedule I controlled substance, a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia and a misdemeanor count of possession of a schedule VI controlled substance. She was held in the Rowan County jail under $15,000 bond pending a first court appearance today.
– Staci Beaver, 40, also of 339 Allman Farm Road, was charged with one felony count of maintaining a dwelling or vehicle for the sale of a controlled substance, a felony count of possession of a schedule I controlled substance, a felony count of manufacturing a schedule I controlled substance, a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, and misdemeanor count of possession of a schedule VI controlled substance. Bond was set at $15,000 pending a first court appearance today.
– Butler, 49, of 331 Allman Farm Road, was charged with one felony count of trafficking heroin, one felony count of maintaining a dwelling or vehicle for the sale of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor charge of possession of a credit card device and a felony count of possession of a schedule I controlled substance. Bond was set at $90,000 pending a first court appearance today.
