Thief takes cash from unlocked safe
KANNAPOLIS ó A daytime theft at a fast-food restaurant netted more than $3,300 in cash.
A Kannapolis Police Department report said someone took the money from the unlocked safe at Quizno’s Subs at 3399 Cloverleaf Parkway between 8:45 p.m. Sunday and early Monday when the theft was reported.
According to the report, someone entered the front door of the business and took the money from from the safe.
The investigation is continuing. No information about a suspect was available.
