The Adolescent and Family Enrichment Council will offer a group parenting program beginning on Wednesday, Sept. 16 at Partners in Learning Child Development Center.
The 14-week parenting program meets each Wednesday from 6-8:30 p.m. Class dates are Sept. 16, 23, 30, Oct. 7, 14, 21, 28, Nov. 4, 11, 18, 25 and Dec. 2, 9, 16. A light meal will be served.
Transportation is available with a 48-hour notice. Childcare is available for children under 3 years old. Children ages 3-5 should attend the program with their parents.
There will also be weekly drawings for educational toys and games. The program is free of charge. Strengthening Families is funded by Smart Start Rowan. Preregistration is required. To preregister, call Holly Morrow at 704-630-0481, ext. 204.
