Steven Page earns Eagle Scout award

Steven Thomas Page, 15, son of Tommy and Mary Willis Page of Salisbury, received his Eagle Scout Award Feb. 8 at First United Methodist Church.
David B. Wilson, Scoutmaster of Troop 442, chartered to First United Methodist Church, made the presentation. Page has earned 27 merit badges and is Patrol Leader.
A sophomore at Salisbury High School, he tied for first in his class, is a member of the Cross-Country team, Varsity Tennis team, Math Club, Spanish Club, Key Club, Young Life, USTA Tennis, Youth Leadership Rowan and St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, where he is an acolyte and in the youth group).
He completed the trek at Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico and has earned two 50-Miler awards (backpacking and canoeing). His Eagle project was landscaping the perimeter of the softball field at Salisbury High School.
