Smart Start Rowan is offering a one-day workshop for potential providers who are interested in caring for more than two children in their home.
This one-day workshop is a comprehensive review of the North Carolina Family Child Care Home rules and regulations and will focus on licensing information, regional specific zoning and sanitation requirements, and detailed information regarding program start-up and operation as it relates to budgeting for quality family child care homes. The workshop will be held 8:30 am ń 4 p.m. on Thursday, July 30, at Smart Start Rowan, 1839 W. Jake Alexander Blvd., Salisbury.
Cost for this workshop is $25, which includes the Family Child Care Handbook published by the North Carolina Division of Child Development.
