A Salisbury man faces multiple drug charges stemming from an undercover operation in which authorities say he was found to be in possession of hydrocodone.
The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office charged Charles Reece Dudley, 56, of 8995 Castor Road, on Tuesday with four counts of trafficking opium or heroin, one count of felony maintaining a dwelling place for a controlled substance and three counts of possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a schedule III controlled substance.
On separate occasions, Dudley was in possession of hydrocodone, a painkiller, authorities said.
The investigations began in mid-November 2008. Dudley is slated for a first appearance today.
