The Salisbury Planning Board will look at plans Tuesday for a two-story office building at 1817 E. Innes St.
Sam Collins of Gamewell Engineering has asked that the half acre of undeveloped property a couple of parcels east of the Rowan County Health Department have a Conditional District overlay placed on it.
The existing Residential Mixed-Use zoning district would not change.
The proposed office building would be 5,886 square feet with room for a 1,500-square-foot expansion.
It would have front and rear parking areas.
The Planning Board meets at 4 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall, 217 S. Main St.
In other agenda items, the Planning Board will:
– Consider a revision to plans for a Marriott Courtyard hotel off East Innes Street near Interstate 85.
Bhupendra Patel seeks changes to the building footprint and building elevations that were approved earlier. The proposed four-story hotel would have 94 rooms and be built off a new cul-de-sac beyond the Blue Bay Seafood restaurant.
– Consider a revision to the site plan for the Gables at Kepley Farms in the 1900 block of Faith Road.
Community Bank has asked that a requirement for a second entrance be removed.
The property had been foreclosed on, and the bank has an interested buyer. A bank representative has said the second entrance would be cost prohibitive and lead to the bank’s losing the sale.
– Hold a workshop on the draft of a Comprehensive Bicycle Plan for Salisbury. The workshop is scheduled for 6 p.m.
