The Salisbury Parks and Recreation Departments schedule for March includes the following:
– Softball Umpires Clinic, 5 p.m., March 8, 15, 18. Hall Gym and Jaycee Optimist Sports Complex. $60. Certification fee payable to USSSA. Cost includes all three clinics.
– Hump Day Disc Golf Tournament, 5:30 p.m., March 11. Kelsey Scott Park. $5 general registration, $2 optional ace pool.
– Photography class, 10 a.m.-noon, March 14 and 28. Civic Center. $10 per class.
– Scrapbooking by Creative Memories, 10 a.m.-3 p.m., March 14. City Park Center. $13/class.
– Spring BULB-aholics, 11 a.m.-1 p.m., March 14. City Park Center. $10 residents/ $20 non residents.
– Jewelry Making, 2-4 p.m., March 14. Civic Center. $12 residents/$24 non residents.
– Cool St. Patty’s Crafts, 3 p.m., March 17. Civic Center. $2 residents / $4 non-residents
– Fancy Wigs, 5:30-7 p.m., March 17. Miller Center. $15 residents/$30 non-residents.
– Finger Paint Frenzy, 11 a.m.-noon, March 21. City Park Center. $5 residents/$10 non-residents.
– Mother-Son Dance, 6-9 p.m., March 23. City Park Center. $7. Purchase tickets at Miller Center.
– Super Snackers, 5:30ń6:30 p.m., March 23. Miller Center. $5 residents/$10 non-residents.
– Tennis Lessons for Youth, March 24, 26, 31 and April 2, City Park Center. 6-7 p.m., ages 7-10; 7-8 p.m., ages 11-15. $20 residents/$40 non-residents. Cost includes all four lessons.
– Men’s Pre-Season Softball Tournament, 6-10 p.m., March 30. Jaycee Optimist Sports Complex. $100 per team. Register by March 19 by calling 704- 638-5289.
– March Mania (School’s Out Fun Day) 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m., March 30. City Park Center and Miller Recreation Center. $15 residents/$30 non-residents.
