‘Read to Your Child Days’ continue
ROCKWELL ó The fourth “Read to Your Child Days” will be held from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at the East Rowan Branch of the Rowan Public Library, 110 Broad St.
The evening includes free books for children, library registration, local officials reading to children, prizes, exhibits and more.
The event’s chief sponsors are the city of Salisbury and Rowan County.
Previous events have been held at the Rowan Public Library in Salisbury, the Spencer Library and the South Rowan Branch Library in Landis/China Grove.
The fifth and last “Read to Your Child Days” will be held at Cleveland Town Hall Aug. 12.
