Authorities are trying to determine who shot a man multiple times Wednesday night at Pine Hills Apartments.
Antonio Gaithers, 24, of Cleveland, was at his girlfriend’s apartment, No. 271, when he was shot multiple times in the abdomen and legs.
When Salisbury Police officers arrived to the apartment, Gaither was lying on the floor.
Authorities said Gaither was in critical condition Wednesday night.
He was taken to Rowan Regional Medical Center and later transferred to Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem.
Hospital officials said Thursday Gaither was in fair condition.
