Metal grates stolen
Six Salisbury men were charged with stealing metal grates from National Starch & Chemical, 200 Lumber St.
The incident occurred March 31. The value of the grates was $200.
The Salisbury Police Department charged Alvin Leon Troutman, 47, Harold Terry Harris, 41, Michael Alexander Henderson, 46, Melvin Ivery Ellis, 43, Michael Raynard Blakeney, 45, and Dmario Raynard Rhodes, 45, with misdemeanor larceny.

– Arrington Jovan Turner reported on March 30 a vehicle hitting a home at 721 N. Ellis St.
– Megan Elizabeth Shelton reported March 30 receiving harassing phone calls at 2016 Rosemont Ave.
– Randall Clay Hammonds reported on March 30 someone stole the radio from his vehicle at 520 Grace Church Road.
– Arlet D. Most reported on March 30 someone entered his home and took some tools at 214 Rutherford St.
– Donald Bruton reported on March 31 someone communicating threats at 50 Lakewood Drive.
– A 46-year-old woman at Clay Street reported March 31 being struck on her face with an open hand.
– Shelley Raymer, 35, was charged March 29 with misdemeanor larceny at 1395 Klumac Road.
– Ellis Terrell Whitley, 21, was charged on March 30 with felony prevent activation of antishoplifting device at Wal-Mart, 323 S. Arlington St.
– Kristy L. Pruitt, 21, was charged March 30 with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance.
– Denetra Lynell Miller reported a March 31 vandalism to her vehicle at 236 Pearl St.
– Vanessa Kaye Garrison reported on March 31 identity theft at 525 W. Jake Alexander Blvd.
– Juliet Smith Burnham reported a March 31 vandalism of her Lincoln Navigator, causing $500 in damages at 123 S. Long St.
– Kathy Gallen reported a March 31 broken window vandalism at 211 Huntington Drive.- Darion Gregory Williams reported sometime between March 27 and March 30 someone broke into his apartment at 406 Mahaley Ave. by kicking in the door and taking cash, a 25-inch TV, a Playstation game console and a watch.
– A sheriff’s deputy found a small amount of marijuana March 31 on the campus of Rowan-Cabarrus Community College. Police cited Joanna Zeoli with simple possession, 1333 S. Jake Alexander Blvd.
