Owner surprised to find motor from stolen car on Craigslist

Staff report

A man whose car was stolen was surprised to find the motor for sale on Craigslist.com.
Jacob John Lehn, 22, 1210 Central Drive Concord, told the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office that when he found the motor for sale on line he went to look at it.
Lehn found the motor and the remains of the vehicle, a 1998 Ford Crown Victoria which was stolen more than a month ago.
The vehicle was at the BP station at 8607 Sunset End Lane, Kannapolis.
Capt. John Sifford said Richard L. Harrington gave deputies a bill of sale for the car showing he had bought it for $150. He had bought the car earlier in the week.
