A Salisbury man who was stabbed Tuesday night at a Satesville Boulevard car wash was also stabbed during an attempted robbery the night before.
The Salisbury Police Department confirmed Daniel Michael, 28, of Milford Drive, received significant cuts in an attempted robbery Monday and was again attacked Tuesday night at a car wash by a different assailant.
Michael told Salisbury Police a black male demanded money from him while he was working on his car Monday. The two scuffled and Michael punched the would-be thief. The suspect fell to the ground and fled. Michael was cut multiple times. He went to the hospital, where he was treated and released.
The suspect is described as a black male with a thin mustache in his mid-30s, 6 feet, 1 inch tall and 160 pounds.
At 8:05 p.m Tuesday, Michael said, he was at a car wash at 2144 Statesville Blvd., near Village Inn Pizza.
He was attacked and stabbed in the abdomen. The suspect in that assault is a white male with a shaggy beard, weighing 300 to 350 pounds and standing between 6 feet and 6 feet, 2 inches tall. He had black hair underneath a baseball cap and wore a gray sweatshirt and blue jeans.
The suspect left in an older model Chevrolet Silverado.
