Man stabbed at car wash

Salisbury police were looking Tuesday night for a man who stabbed someone in the stomach at a car wash off Statesville Boulevard.
The attack occurred about 8:05 p.m. at the carwash at 2144 Statesville Blvd. next to the Salisbury Marketplace shopping center.
Police reported the suspect had a shaggy beard, was 6 feet 4 to 6 feet 5 inches tall and weighed 350-400 pounds.
He left the car wash after the attack in an older model, beat-up Chevrolet Silverado pickup, emergency dispatches said.
An identity or condition of the victim was not available.
The attack occurred about 8:05 p.m. The victim also was hit on the head, according to initial reports.
