Man involved in LaBamba fight faces new charge

One of two brothers charged in a brawl at the LaBamba Club, 200 Klumac Road, now faces an additional charge.
Salisbury Police charged Michael Jeffrey Fox, 29, of 220 S. Oakhurst Drive, with communicating threats.
Fox was previously charged with disorderly conduct and and disturbing the peace.
According to the report, police arrested Fox on Wednesday shortly after he appeared in court on a probable cause hearing for other charges related to the Aug. 28 brawl.
The new charge involved threats made against Officer Mark Hunter. According to a police report, Fox told officer Hunter that he would kill him or hire someone to kill him.
Fox’s brother, John Allen Fox, 32, had previously been charged with communicating threats as well as assault on an officer and resisting arrest.
