The 44-year-old China Grove man charged with raping his 15-year-old daughter had his first appearance in a Rowan County courtroom Monday.
The case has been continued to Aug. 12. The suspect has retained the services of attorney James Davis.
The suspect remains in the Rowan County Detention Center on $125,000 bond.
He is charged with one count each of second-degree rape and incest.
The man’s name is not being reported to protect the identity of his victim.
