Authorities charged a Rowan County man with possession of crack cocaine after they went to serve an arrest warrant for breaking and entering.
Ronnie McCoy Jr., 25, was charged Wednesday with breaking and entering and possession of a schedule II controlled substance.
Officers found McCoy was in possession of five crack rocks weighing half a gram while serving the warrant at 400 E. Main St., Cleveland.
McCoy remained in the Rowan County Detention Center late Friday under a $10,000 bond.
