Man awaiting trial leaves court for lunch, doesn't return

A defendant scheduled for trial in Rowan County Superior Court Thursday left for lunch and didn’t come back.
The presiding judge issued an order of arrest for Claymore Jones, 37, of 208 Harrell St.
He was scheduled for a jury trial after lunch.
The judge ordered Jones’ bond set at $500,000.
Jones was in court on a habitual felon charge.
