Lexington woman sentenced in motherís stabbing death

LEXINGTON (AP) ó A Davidson County woman who was a high school honors student in North Carolina has been sentenced to prison for her involvement in her motherís stabbing death.
Andrea Christine Maxwell was 17 years old when her mother, Judith Maxwell, was killed Nov. 17, 2007. The Winston-Salem Journal reported Tuesday that she was sentenced to 16 to 20 years for second-degree murder and 13 to 16 years for conspiracy. The charges will run consecutively.
Maxwellís boyfriend, Joe Lee Coleman, was sentenced last year to life in prison without parole after he pleaded guilty to first-degree murder in Maxwellís death.
Coleman graduated from Central Davidson High School in 2005, and Maxwell was an honors student there.
