LandTrust names committee for RiverDance fundraiser
The LandTrust for Central North Carolina has named the committee for the ninth annual RiverDance fundraiser, to be held Aug. 15 at the Historic Salisbury Station.
Jessica and Nick Goodman will chair the event, assisted by Jennifer and Patrick Baker, Gwin and Matt Barr, Lynn and Robert Bertram, Ann and Bucky Cline, Nancy and Wilson Graham, Deborah and Dyke Messinger, Margaret and William Nobles, Meredith and Bryan Overcash, Addie Laurie and Richard Reamer, Heather Roberts, Liz and Rob Sawyer, Starr and Vic Shive, Jacqui and Victor Shive, Luanne and Chip Short, Carole and David Simmons, Nichole and Erron Towns, Dana and Brad Walser, Scotti and Billy Webb, Jan and Dan Williams, and Beth and Paul Woodson.
RiverDance 2008 raised more than $40,000 which has enabled The LandTrust to continue land protection efforts at the confluence of the Yadkin and South Yadkin rivers.
