Labor Day Closings

Banks, post offices and all local government offices will be closed Monday in observance of Labor Day.
The Salisbury city bus system will not run. Rowan-Kannapolis ABC stores will be closed.
Most towns report no disruption in services. Spencer services will pick up again on Tuesday.
Salisbury trash will be picked up on Monday on schedule, but limbs and yard debris will not be collected.
Rowan Public Library will be closed Saturday-Monday.
Public schools will not hold classes.
In Concord, garbage and recycling will be collected during the holiday week on a one-day delay. For example, Monday will be collected on Tuesday and then Friday on Saturday. Monday and Tuesday yard waste customers should have their yard waste on the curb by 7 a.m. on Tuesday. Wednesday through Friday yard waste will be collected on the regular days.
All Cabarrus County offices, including the county landfill and all library branches, will be closed Monday. Countyńoperated parks will operate on a normal schedule.
The offices of the Salisbury Post will be closed, but the paper will be published on its regular schedule.
