Kannapolis History Associates will have an annual membership meeting at 7 p.m. May 11 at Kimball Lutheran Church, Kannapolis.
The theme of the eventing is “From Vacuum Tubes to Micro Chips: A discussion about Kannapolis, Past and Present.”
Guests are Dr. Gary Freeze, chairman of the History Department at Catawba Collee, and Ryan Dayvault, a Catawba graduate who works on the N.C. Research Campus.
