Kannapolis fire ruled suspicious
KANNAPOLIS ó Investigators are calling suspicious a fire at Dollar Tree, 6146 Bayfield Parkway.
The Kannapolis Fire Department responded to a reported fire at the store just after 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. Firefighters found the store’s sprinkler system had contained the flames and used fans to remove heavy smoke from the building, a press release said.
Fire investigators are assisting the Kannapolis Police Department.
