Hunters Helping Kids holds banquet

The Rowan County Chapter of Hunters Helping Kids will hold a banquet on Aug. 22 at Rowan Auction House off Interstate 85 at Exit 79.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m., dinner starts at 7 p.m. and the auction starts at 8 p.m. on items such as a Cotton Ketchie print, Bob Timberlake print and Lodge Creek duck call. There will also be a drawing for a youth gun and a raffle on a four-wheeler.
Ticket prices are $15 for an individual, $25 for a couple, $10 for teens 11-18 and younger than 10 years old get in free.
Ticket includes rib and country ham dinner, an opportunity to participate in the auction, and games and drawings.
Contributions help preserve the hunting heritage for children.
