The Hefner VA Medical Center will celebrate Black History Month with a special program Friday at 1:30 p.m. in the Social Room, Building 6.
The theme of this year’s program will be “Black History: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.” The celebration will include a musical and narrative presentation of notable persons and events focusing on the contributions of African-Americans throughout American history.
Special recognition will be given to distinguished guests. Light refreshments will be served immediately following the program. The community is invited to attend.
