Graham will be intern with Coates

Alisha Graham, a junior at N.C. State University, has been selected to work as an intern this session in the office of N.C. Rep. Lorene Coates, D-Rowan.Graham previously served as a page for Coates in 2005.
“I am thrilled to have Alisha in our office again,” Coates said. “I know that she will enjoy serving this session and assisting the citizens of Rowan County.”
Graham graduated from North Rowan High School in 2006 and is double majoring in political science and women and gender studies at NCSU. She is the daughter of Marcelle and Deborah Graham of Salisbury. She plans to attend law school after graduation and hopes to continue to work in public service.
Coates is chairwoman of the Public Utilities Committee and vice chairwoman of the Transportation, the Appropriations Subcommittee on Transportation and the Ways and Means/Broadband Connectivity committees.
She is also a member of the Agriculture, Alcoholic Beverage Control and Appropriations committees.
