KANNAPOLIS ń At 7:20 a.m. today the Kannapolis Fire Department responded to a structure fire at the Home-Towne Suites, 3200 Cloverleaf Parkway.
Upon arrival, fire crews found smoke on the fourth floor of the building. The fire had been kept to a minimum by the structure’s working sprinkler system. Fire personnel extinguished the fire and searched all floors for any occupants in danger.
Investigators have determined cooking to be the cause of this morning’s fire.
