Federal Reserve veteran speaks Tuesday at Catawba College

Jeff Kane, a 31-year veteran of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, will speak on “Public Policy Implications for the Economic Crisis” on Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Hedrick Little Theatre of the Robertson College-Community Center on the Catawba College campus. A luncheon will follow. Musical entertainment by Erin Harper will begin at 10:45 a.m.

Sponsored by the Business Advisory Board of the Ralph W. Ketner School of Business, the lecture is the third in a series. Previous speakers include Bob Ingram of GlaxoSmithKline and Ellen Ruff of Duke Energy.
Joey Popp of Charlotte, chairman of the Business Advisory Board, will again serve as master of ceremonies. Also appearing on the program will be Dr. Craig Turner, president of Catawba College; Professor Pam Thompson, chairwoman of the Ketner School of Business; Dr. Ken Clapp, senior vice president and chaplain; and Phil Kirk, vice president for external Relations.
