Episode XI Studios, a video production company in Charlotte, has reported that the A&E series “Intervention” recently filmed in Salisbury.
The popular reality show profiles people whose dependence on drugs and alcohol or other compulsive behavior has brought them to a crisis point.
Each episode ends with a surprise intervention that is staged by the family and friends of the alcohol or drug addict, and which is conducted by one of the show’s intervention specialists.
Episode XI Studios, which was contracted by GRB Entertainment of Sherman Oaks, Calif., to assist in the filming process, was unable to give details about the filming in Salisbury but spokesperson Randy Davis speculated that the episode will air next year.
