East Rowan Class of ’89 to reunite

East Rowan High School Class of 1989 will have its 20th reunion Sept. 25 and 26.
The events will begin with tailgating at 6 p.m. at the Friday night Homecoming football game. Look for the designated ‘Class of 1989’ area of the Hwy. 52 parking lot. A tour of the school will take place before the game. Those interested in the tour should meet at the Hwy. 52 entrance to the school at 6:30 p.m.
Port-a-Pit meals will be available at the game. The class will have a designated seating area at the game, Section 2, to the right of the press box.
On Saturday, there will be a Family Day at Dan Nicholas Park from 10 a.m. ń 2:30 p.m. at the picnic area beside the playground parking lot, near the carousel. Bring your own picnic lunch.
The reunion party will be at 7 p.m. Saturday at Brick Street Tavern, 122 E. Fisher St. No advance money is to be sent. Food and beverages will be purchased individually.
The Friday night game is also the celebration of the 50th anniversary of East Rowan High School.
