Correction
In May, the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation signed off on the Section 106 requirements for the Interstate 85 project that would include a new bridge over the Yadkin River. The filing of a Memorandum of Agreement and execution of its terms completed requirements of Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act and the ACHP’s regulations. A story in Monday’s Post indicated that the resolution of some historic issues was still pending on the project.
