CHINA GROVE ó Aldermen will talk about the rail corridor, new fire trucks and new carpet at their meeting tonight.
The board meets at 7 p.m. in the Municipal Building at 205 Swink St.
Items on the agenda include:
– A resolution in opposition to the expansion of the rail corridor along the N.C. Railroad in China Grove.
– Consideration of a proposed amendment to the town’s Unified Development Ordinance.
– Consideration of fire truck bids.
– Consideration of new carpeting in the town hall and the police department.
– Declaring items surplus and making them available for sale.
– A presentation from Rebecca Yarbrough of Centralina Council of Governments asking for support of the CONNECT regional vision and action agenda.
