Candidate information session is Thursday
A Salisbury City Council candidate information session will be held for the 2009 candidates from 5-6:30 p.m. Thursday at City Hall.
City staff members offer the session to acquaint candidates with some of the workings of the city and make themselves available for questions.
This year’s candidates for City Council include Charles Black, Maggie Blackwell, Carl Dangerfield, Blake Jarman, Ben Johnson, William “Pete” Kennedy, Susan Kluttz, Mark Lewis, Brian Miller, William Peoples, Wes Thompson, Paul Woodson and Michael Young.
The election will be held Nov. 3. All five seats on the City Council are up for election to two-year terms.
