Blotter: Someone else picks up prescription

Staff reportA drive-through pickup of prescription pills has prompted a Salisbury Police investigation.
An employee at CVS reported a man pulled through the drive-through Friday, verified a prescription, paid for it and drove off.
The person for whom the pills were intended did not get the medicine.
Salisbury Police reports of incidents or arrests for Oct. 26:
– Southern Motors, 1605 S. Main St., reported the building and vehicles were vandalized with paint.
– The city of Salisbury reported vandalism at its park at 935 Hurley School Road.
Police reports of incidents or arrests for Oct. 25:
– A resident of 1405 Standish St. reported gang graffiti was spray-painted on his home.
– Rashad Brennel, 20, was assaulted at Livingstone College.
Police reports of incidents or arrests for Oct. 24:
– Qwan Matthew Boler was robbed at gunpoint by three men at 316 Lake Drive.
Police reports of incidents or arrests for Oct. 22:- James Cleveland, 612 S. Martin Luther King Ave., reported the theft of yard equipment from an outbuilding.
– Michael Lee Glenn, 211 E. Bank St., reported that someone set fire to his porch.
– A Salisbury city employee reported a threatening note was left on construction equipment at the intersection of Edzell Drive and Inverness Lane.
– Joshua Lee Meece was the victim of an assault at 801 E. Innes St.
– Chloe Danielle Shuping, Cannon Street, Rockwell, was charged with prostitution after soliciting an undercover officer for sex at 799 N. Long St.
– Jonathan Edward Woods, 38, 1125 Laurel St., was charged with six felony counts of breaking and entering a building and larceny.
Police reports of incidents or arrests for Oct. 21:
– Investigated a complaint from the Rowan County Department of Social Services regarding improper behavior by the parent and visitors to the household.
– Burger King, 700 Jake Alexander Blvd., reported bricks were used to smash two doors and two windows.
Police reports of incidents or arrests for Oct. 20:
– Earl Eugene Blackmon Jr. reported someone shot into his vehicle while he was driving on Jake Alexander Boulevard.
