Blotter – Salisbury Police cite man for letting unlicensed driver operate his vehicle

The Salisbury Police arrested a man during a license checkpoint who they say tried to use his passenger’s license as his own.
Scottie Eugene Everhart, 30, was chargedvApril 17 with misdemeanor resist, obstruct delay an officer and driving while license revoked.
Arrest reports said the owner of the vehicle was the passenger, Robert Jeffery Baldwin, who refused to give consent for a search.
Officials eventually searched the vehicle after Everhart’s arrest. No weapons or illegal substances were found.Baldwin was cited for letting an unlicensed driver operate his vehicle.

– Charles Reginald Springs, 52, was charged April 16 with habitual felon at 210 N. Main St.
– Brian Lee Schlimmer, 43, was charged April 14 with being a fugitive from justice at 109 Sills Drive.
– Melanie Vanessa Smith, 23, was charged April 15 with felony trafficking in heroin.
– Marquis Antonio Feamster, 18, was charged April 15 with misdemeanor unauthorized use of a motor vehicle at 210 North Main St.
– Tina Zollars Crawford, 25, was charged April 15 with misdemeanor resist, obstruct, delay an officer at 428 E. Innes St.
