Blotter: Man runs from police serving warrant

Salisbury Police serving a trespassing warrant March 10 at an apartment on Martin Luther King Avenue ended up chasing a suspect as he ran from a rear door.
The foot chase went through the woods behind the complex and Jeffery Jason Young, 38, of 700 S. Martin Luther King Ave., was arrested and charged with resist, obstruct and delay an officer.
Upon searching him, officers found 0.08 grams of marijuana on him. He was also charged with misdemeanor possession of controlled substance, schedule VI.

– Thaddeus Oneal Wilkins, 36, was charged March 10 with resist, delay and obstruct an officer at 815 W. Fisher St.
– Mardy Wilson reported March 11 several tow dollies and an enclosed trailer were stolen from her U-Haul business at 4120 S. Main St.
– Bench Warmers reported March 11 a burglary at 113 E. Fisher St. where cash was taken.
– Two women, Aylassa Danelle Lacy, 20, and Seniqua Quenshetta McCoy, 17, were charged March 11 with concealment of merchandise after they were stopped in Wal-Mart after hiding merchandise in their pocketbooks.
– Jeannie Juan Morales, 39, was charged March 11 with misdemeanor resist, delay and obstruct a public officer at 210 N. Main St.
– Simans Adalberto Sanchez, 19, was charged March 4 with misdemeanor larceny at 1200 W. Fisher St.
– Carla Della Valintinea, 51, was charged March 4 with driving while impaired at 1999 Statesville Blvd. at West Jake Alexander Boulevard.
– Bradley Bo Young, 22, was charged March 5 with misdemeanor larceny at 323 S. Arlington St.
– Shelley Larae Locklear, 29, was charged March 5 with resisting, delaying or obstructing a public officer at 700 Bringle Ferry Road.
– Marlon Jermain Barber, 20, was charged March 5 with possession of a controlled substance, Schedule II, a felony, at 789 Bringle Ferry Rd at North Green Street.
– Kim Luredian Brawley, 41, was charged March 5 with assaulting a school official, at 1205 S. Main St.
