Blotter: Adult, five juveniles charged after deputies break up China Grove party

One adult and five juveniles were charged after a party at 108 Ethel Lane, China Grove, was broken up by deputies from the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office around midnight Tuesday.
According to reports, Forrest Allen Phillis, 56, was charged with five counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Authorities say the party was held at his home.
Frances Langford, 17, Mary Harward, 17, Suzanne Harward, 17, and Jonathan Phillis, 18, were charged with consuming liquor and underage consumption. Jonathan Pendergraft, 18, was also charged with underage consumption and resisting, delaying and obstructing a public officer.

– Laura Barber, 445 Stone Road, reported a man broke into her house through a rear window on Aug. 4. Christopher Barber, 32, was later charged with domestic trespassing.
– Robert Oneal reported the larceny of a motor vehicle on Aug. 4 at 1449 Circle Drive.
– James Stewart reported a burglary at 525 Hurley School Road on Aug. 4.
– Ram Development, 1421 Old Mocksville Road, reported a larceny on Aug. 4.
– Latoya Abel, 22, was arrested and charged with larceny on Aug. 4.
– Brandi Black, 24, was arrested and charged with temporary custody order on Aug. 4.
– Ashley Jennings, 17, was arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon on Aug. 4.
– Anthony Daniels, 32, was arrested and charged with assault on a female on Aug. 4.
– William Elliott, 31, was arrested and charged with larceny at 5630 Old Mocksville Road, on Aug. 4.
– Whitney Pollard, 25, was charged with child abuse on Aug. 4.
– Michelle Absher, 21, was arrested for injury to personal property on Aug. 4.
– Karuth Worth, 45, was arrested on charges of nonsupport child on Aug. 4.
– Bobby Locklear, 37, was arrested and charged with habitual felon on Aug. 4.
