500 jobs up for grabs at Great Wolf Resorts

CONCORD ó Great Wolf Resorts has more than 500 positions to fill to staff its 12th waterpark resort.
The Madison, Wisc.-based company will hold a job fair Feb. 5-7 at Lowe’s Motor Speedway for its newest resort in Concord, which is scheduled to open at the end of March off Interstate 85.
“The opening of a new Great Wolf Lodge always does a lot to energize a community,” says Angela Holcomb, vice president of human resources for Great Wolf Resorts. “That we’re able to add over 500 new jobs to the greater Charlotte area in today’s economy makes this event even more special.”
Hiring for the massive resort will include all departments, such as housekeeping, spa services, waterpark, retail/arcade, front desk, maintenance and food/beverage.
Great Wolf Lodge general manager is Phil Cunningham.
The job fair runs noon to 8 p.m. next Thursday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Feb. 6 and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Feb. 7.

The 475,000-square-foot northwoods-themed resort has 402 all-suite guest rooms, an 80,000-square-foot indoor waterpark, two themed restaurants, a spa, a 100-game arcade, an interactive 18-hole miniature golf course, a fitness center and a 20,000-square-foot conference center.
