Remember Tom, Huck, Becky Thatcher, Aunt Polly and the Injun Joe? After entertaining local elementary school groups this week, these classic characters from the imagination of Mark Twain will stick around for public performances this weekend and next.
The Piedmont Players Theatre presents a youth production of “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer,” with performances at 7:30 p.m. this Friday and at 2:30 p.m. Saturday. The show will also be performed next weekend at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16 and 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct.17.
All tickets are $6 general admission and and can be purchased at the door.
The box office opens 2 hours before each performance.
