– A headline in Sunday’s Post was inaccurate. A metabolic chamber study in Kannapolis is not the first human trial at the N.C. Research Campus. The UNC Nutrition Research Institute has been conducting a human trial for several months with children.
The metabolic chamber study is a collaboration between the UNC Nutrition Research Institute and Appalachian State University’s Human Performance Lab.
