Great-grandparents are Betty Sunding of Salisbury, Bernice Daniels of Kannapolis and William Abrams of Rockingham.
Sean Harden
A son, Sean Alexander, was born to Tyesha and the Rev. Maurice Harden of Kannapolis on July 16, 2009, at Lexington Memorial Hospital. He weighed 7 pounds, 4.4 ounces. He has a brother, Trevarus, 11, and a sister, Tianna, 8. Grandparents are Judy Jones of Woodleaf and Mr. and Mrs. Dale Harden of Reynoldsburg, Ohio. Great-grandparents are Mary McConeyhead of Cleveland, Barbara Harden of Slyvania, Pa., and Mildred Davenport of Columbus, Ohio.
Emily Farabee
A daughter, Emily Falls, was born to Ali and Brandon Farabee of Kannapolis on July 24, 2009, at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast. She weighed 7 pounds, 10 ounces. She has a brother, Tucker, 2. Grandparents are Nancy and Scott Barger and Janis and Robert Tucker, all of Kannapolis. Great-grandparents are Juanita and M.J. Barger of Kannapolis.
Maddox Houghton
A son, Maddox Renn, was born to Joshua and Stephanie Overcash Houghton of Mount Ulla on July 31, 2009, at Presbyterian Hospital in Huntersville. He weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces. Grandparents are Susan and Donald Overcash of Mount Ulla and Kaye and Kent Houghton of Salisbury. Great-grandparents are Jim and Mary Lefler of Mount Ulla.
Christopher Wallace
A son, Christopher Jacob, was born to Jeremiah and Heather Koontz Wallace of Salisbury on July 31, 2009, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. He weighed 6 pounds, 8 ounces. He has a brother, Cole, 22 months. Grandparents are Terrie and Alan Koontz of Salisbury, Terry Wallace of Coal Run, Ohio and Roberta Albrecht of Mooresville. Great-grandparents are Nina Koontz of Salisbury, Lydia Leffew of Chelyan, W. Va., Shirley Deeses of Salisbury, and Joe Wallace of Coal Run.
Ridge Barger

A son, Hampton Foster, was born to Jon and Shelley Palmer of Salisbury on July 21, 2009, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. He weighed 8 pounds, 13 ounces. Hampton has 2 brothers: Blake, 9, and Harper, 21 months. Grandparents are Shelton and Freida Harper of Salisbury and Barbara Palmer of Concord. Great-grandmother is Frances Harper of Salisbury.Jersey WallerA daughter, Jersey Rae, was born to Jacob and Kristy Waller of Sugar Grove, Va. on July 16, 2009, at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, Va. She weighed 7 pounds, 13.5 ounces. She has one brother, Owen, 2 1/2. Grandparents are Teresa Bradshaw of Woodleaf, Pat and Becky Bradshaw and Billy and Sharon Waller, all of Mooresville, and Henry and Tiea Goodnight of China Grove.
