Adam Rubin of the New York Daily News is reporting that former East Rowan and Rowan County Legion standout Bobby Parnell, a New York Mets pitcher, will start on the mound Saturday against the San Diego Padres.
Mike Pelfrey, whose wife is supposed to give birth today, will have his start pushed to Monday.
