Fishermen on the Russellhatt, owned by Lee Russell of Salisbury, finished second in the Cape Fear Blue Marlin Tournament held at Wrightsville Beach on June 25-27.
The anglers released a blue marlin that won them $21,060. The fish weighed an estimated 200 pounds.
Kirkley Russell, Eric Beltz, Brian O’Quinn, Cindy Russell, Lee Russell and Capt. Robert Mintz were part of the fishing group. They also took part in the recent Megadock Tournament in Charleston, S.C.
