A son, Riley Thomas, was born to Catherine and Donnie Mabe of China Grove on June 9, 2009, at Thomas Medical Center. He weighed 9 pounds, 12 ounces. Grandparents are Jane and Dan Peeler, Jeffrey and Jean Ketner, all of Salisbury, and the late Leonard Mabe. Gertha Brown of Salisbury is great-grandparent.
Kelan Burch
A son, Kelan Alexander, was born to Misty D. Wall and Daymond B. Burch II of Salisbury at Rowan Regional Medical Center on May 19, 2009. He weighed 6 pounds, 10 ounces. He has one brother, Jaiden Kristopher Burch, 2. Grandparents are Jeff and Lisa Wall of Salisbury. Lucile Wall of Salisbury is great-grandparent.
Decan Alford
A son, Decan Grant, was born to Stacey and Nicholas Alford of Gold Hill at Forsyth Medical Center on June 18,2009. He weighed 5 pounds, 3 ounces. He has two brothers, Gavin Blake, 6, and Logan Kahne, 3. Grandparents are Carolyn Euart of Rockwell, Jerry and Phyllis Alford of Gold Hill and Mark Euart of Salisbury. Great-grandparents are Elizabeth Ritchie of Rockwell, John Euart of Salisbury and Ruby Starnes of Lexington. Mabel Menius of Salisbury is great-great grandparent.
Benjamin Young
A son, Benjamin Wesley, was born to Felecia and Benny Young of Salisbury on June 20, 2009, at NorthEast Medical Center . He weighed 5 pounds, 12 ounces. He has one sister, Alexis, 6. Grandparents are Jimmy and Lottie Young of Georgetown, S.C., and Wilson and Betty McKnight of Kingstree, S.C.
