Carson Hurst
A son, Carson Wayne, was born to Jeremy and Karen Hurst of China Grove on May 28, 2009, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. He weighed 6 pounds, 3 1/2 ounces. Grandparents are Amy Belk Hurst of Kannapolis, the late Jerry Hurst and Jerry and Dianne Heilig of China Grove. Great-grandparents are Harold Belk of Kannapolis and Robert and Mattie Lee Sloop of Salisbury.
Ephraim Lingle
A son, Ephraim Wayne, was born to Holly and Jeremy Lingle of China Grove May 22, 2009, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. He weighed 7 pounds, 1 ounce. Grandparents are Debbie Benson and Gail Lingle, both of Salisbury, and the late Wayne Lingle. Great- grandparents are O.T. Lingle of Salisbury, Brady and Lucille Barbee of Woodleaf and Doris McConnell of The Villages, Fla.
